Everlane E2 Bomber Jacket Review
Everlane E2 Bomber Jacket
Bomber jackets are a trend that just keeps on giving, with no end in sight. Athleisure is comfy, cute, and here to stay. Everlane's E2 Bomber Jacket is no exception. I highly recommend this well executed version. It is insulated and just warm enough for spring or fall. (Or a strange midwest winter day of 60 degrees, as shown in these pics.) The fabric has a bit of a sheen and drapes well. It is quite comfortable, not stiff at all. The pockets are a decent size- I can slip in my iPhone 7 Plus easily. (They are not very deep though, so I wouldn't recommend long term storage there.) I found the fit to be true to size- I took my usual size small (35 inch bust, 26.5 inch waist, narrow across the shoulders) and have enough room to comfortably layer over a lighter weight sweater. I'm a sucker for olive green and did not think twice about the color. I have a Madewell military jacket that I've worn regularly for about 4 years, so I knew olive would be a win for me. I find it to be a great neutral in my casual wardrobe. The black version also looks bomb, as seen on Eva Chen.
